Erhard Gulyás’s passion for musical instruments emerged at an early age. He began
his musical education in 1991 at Bartók Béla Music School in Békéscsaba, Hungary,
specializing in bass guitar before switching to electric guitar, which he mastered through a
combination of self-study and private instruction. Over the course of his 25-year musical
career, he played nearly 130 guitars—an experience that provided him with a solid
foundation in both material knowledge and tonal shaping, which later proved invaluable in
his journey as an instrument maker.
